Melissa Coyne-Foresi is a PhD Student who researches student engagement through school-based peer mentoring programs. Melissa’s study is supported by an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) (2017). Her professional background includes work as a School Support Counsellor with the Thames Valley District School Board, Family Consultant with the London Police Service, as well as registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers. Melissa holds an MA in Applied Psychology in Schools from Western University, an MEd in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa, and an undergraduate degree in psychology from King’s University College.
