My research continues to explore the relative value of life and work experience in apposition to academic learning. In a policy development context these two forms of learning are critical to curriculum designs for institutions and the people who inhabit them. Through the Human Ingenuity Research Group I propose fresh perspectives and policies on higher education, particularly learning in the trades, technical occupations, and engineering.
