My research integrates affective, relational, and community-based pedagogies to examine how children learn, think, feel, and relate to the world. I specialize in early childhood education, philosophy with children, and curriculum studies. I am particularly interested in arts-based, visual, and research-creation methodologies as ways of engaging children’s embodied, affective, and creative capacities. My work also considers how philosophical inquiry can be reimagined through feminist, posthumanist, and non-Western perspectives. I supervise graduate students exploring the intersection of philosophy, art, and childhood education.
