Research Day at the Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education joined with the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Information and Media Studies on March 23 to showcase the impressive volume and variety of research currently taking place in the Faculty. Supported by Research Western, the event took place in the Great Hall at the University of Western Ontario and the late winter storm did nothing to dampen the attendance and the enthusiasm of exhibitors and guests.
The Faculty of Education proudly exhibited recently published books by faculty and students, as well as 75 posters and 9 table displays. Research exhibitors from Education included the Centre for Research & Education on Violence against Women and Children (CREVAWC), the Education Library, the Althouse Press, Researching Contemporary and International Education (RICE), Comparative and International Education, Advancing Interdisciplinary Research in Singing (AIRS), Interdisciplinary Network for Scholarship in Professions’ Research in Education (INSPiRE), Canadian Research on Inclusive Education and WesternCan.
