Faculty of Education remembers
Faculty of Education Choir
At the 11th hour on the 11th day of November, Faculty of Education students, staff and Faculty gathered in the auditorium to honor the veterans of war, those who died and those who returned forever changed. The Faculty choir sang “Where Have all the Flowers Gone,” and “In Flanders Fields.” Taps was played, followed by a minute of silence and a tribute read by Lecturer Patsy Allison.
In the minds of some in the audience were two late Professors Emeriti, Philip Linden and George Lawson, veterans of World War II and founding Faculty members, both of whom died in 2008.
