Faculty Resources
There are two types of funding that are available to support your research: internal funding from the Faculty of Education and external funding from both Tri-Council agencies (e.g., SSHRC) and other external agencies. Below are the links to internal opportunities, the Tri-Council agencies, and to Pivot - a large international database of external funding opportunties.
Applying for an Internal Grant?
- Download the form related to the competition you are applying for below
- Complete the form in its entirety, make sure it is signed
- Submit the form via the "Submit Form" button at the bottom of the application form or on our website below
- Complete the Microsoft Form that opens when that button is pressed
- DONE!
Please note: applications will not be accepted unless they are submitted using the Microsoft Form

If using Google Chrome:
→ Copy and paste the following into the search bar in Chrome; chrome://settings/content → Press Enter → Under the section 'PDF Documents', enable the button to Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome.
