Distinctive Contribution Award for Education Professor

Congratulations to Dr. Rebecca Coulter, who was taken by surprise at the biennial conference of the Canadian History of Education Association when she was honoured with the Distinctive Contribution Award.

Founded in 1980, the CHEA promotes the study in Canada of the educational past. Members come from a variety of fields, including scholars and graduates students as well as those affiliated with faculties of education, departments of history and other university departments, teachers, members of school boards and other educational institutions. Rebecca was nominated by this community in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the history of education in Canada.
