Curriculum Studies and Studies in Applied Linguistics

I am a Pedagogist in Toronto, Canada and a PhD Candidate in Education at Western University in London, Canada . I am also a contract lecturer in education degree programs.

In my doctoral research, I experiment with feminist Common Worlding research methods to enact fooding pedagogies that pay attention to ethical complexities and interdependencies of humans-food relations. My interdisciplinary approach draws on feminist environmental humanities and food pedagogies to ask generative questions about taken-for-granted curriculum-making in Canadian early childhood education. In the role of a pedagogist, my research engages with young children and educators, and attends to the possibilities of thinking beyond developmental frameworks and neoliberal relational logics to consider how we might think, learn, and live well with each other in our more-than-human foodworlds.
